Slow Cooker Pork Roast with Sauerkraut
Pork Roast (or pork chops if you prefer)
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 bag of sauerkraut (do not drain…add juices)
1/2 cup applesauce (or 1 apple diced or sliced)
Brown Sugar
Spray Crockpot with PAM. Season Pork Roast or Pork Chops with salt and pepper. If using pork chops, you may want to sear them on both sides in frying pan to brown before adding to slow cooker. Add 1 bag of sauerkraut with juice. Add 1/2 cup of applesauce (or diced apple). Sprinkle with a generous sprinkling of brown sugar. Cook on low 8 – 10 hours.
