New Weight Watchers Smart Ones Oatmeal {Review & Giveaway}

Disclosure: This post was created in partnership with Smart Ones®. I received free product coupons to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.

One of the biggest challenges I have had over the past two weeks since starting my new job just as the kids were returning to school is that MORNINGS ARE HECTIC! Not only is the whole family getting up at the crack of dawn, but we are finding ourselves knee deep in an assembly line of getting dressed, gathering lunches and school necessities and preparing breakfast for everyone before we all head out the door at 7 AM.  I know how important it is to start the day with a nutritious and healthy breakfast so I have been looking for products that are nutritious and delicious with very little prep time.

Let me just say this – Weight Watcher’s New Smart Ones Oatmeal is ahhhhh-mazing!  These new, delicious and filling frozen breakfast entrees come in three heavenly flavors – Apples & Cinnamon, Peaches & Cream and my personal favorite, Maple & Brown Sugar.  Made of healthy steel cut oats,chunks of fresh fruit and pieces of granola, these perfectly portioned meals come frozen in a pack of two and can be found in your grocery store’s freezer section where other Weight Watchers frozen products are sold.  I first spotted these little gems at Target and could not wait to try them!  When the wonderful people over at Weight Watchers Smart Ones reached out to me to sample some for review, I could not wait to pick up some to try.

Since I have been watching what I am eating and tracking my food and exercise via My Fitness Pal since January, I love that these products fit perfectly into my diet.  At just 190 calories and just 2 grams of fat, the Maple & Brown Sugar entree packs 5 grams of filling fiber and 5 grams of protein and equates to just 5 WW points.  It is wholesome and hearty and does a great job getting me through my busy morning.  The Peaches & Cream version has 170 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, 4 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein for 4 WW points and the Apples & Cinnamon flavor is 180 calories, 2 grams of fat, 5 grams of protein, and 5 grams of fiber making it just 4 WW points.  All three are great choices and perfect to keep on hand for breakfast or any time of day that you need a hearty snack!

I kid you not when I tell you how super easy they are to prepare!

Now that you have heard all about Smart Ones Oatmeal, perhaps you, too, are  inspired to create some new beginnings for yourself.  If so, you are in luck!  Weight Watchers is currently running  an Inspiring Smart Beginnings Sweepstakes where a lucky winner will be given $5000 toward their very own smart beginnings goal! Then, every time you or a friend shares about the contest on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or email, SmartOnes® will make a donation to Dress for Success (up to $10,000), an organization to help get those in need back on their feet.  How wonderful is that?  Not only can you win, but you can make a difference in the lives of others struggling to get on their feet.  Now that is just awesome!
