This year I am back to work and boy am I behind when it comes to holiday shopping and ordering my Christmas cards! I cannot tell you how much I love ordering my holiday cards online and picking out the perfect ones to showcase my favorite recent pictures of my kids. Ordering online is simple and convenient and can be done anytime of night or day – allowing me to do it on my time – when I can sit and enjoy creating something special to send to those I love this holiday season. This year I am thrilled to be ordering my cards from Shutterfly; I am in awe at the beautiful, extensive line of designs to choose from. I love that each design is beautifully crafted and each captures its own unique sentiment, making the card personal and perfectly suited to the sender’s own style and taste. Choosing that perfect card each year always puts me in the holiday spirit – and I cannot wait to get started on this year’s family card.

Every year at the holidays, as much as I love sending cards, I equally forward to receiving them in the mail from family and friends. It is such a wonderful way to keep in touch and share love with all of those close to you, and it is so much fun seeing everyone’s children and families growing. The cards instantly become part of my holiday decor as I proudly display my cards on gorgeous elastic holiday bows that stretch around my doors in my living room; the cards hang with mini red clothespins. Family and friends cannot help but browse and read each beautiful card that hangs on pretty holiday ribbon card holders throughout my dining room. The cards are a constant remind of the things that truly matter throughout the holiday season and all year – love, family, friends and the magical spirit of the holidays.

Shutterfly’s cards are incredibly high quality and the designs are endless. One of my most difficult tasks each year (aside from getting my three kids to cooperate and pose and smile for a picture perfect photo) is choosing the perfect card from the hundreds of beautiful and festive choices. Every year new designs are added, leaving choices fresh and exciting year after year. I love that Shutterfly offers so many styles to fit everyone’s unique style. You’ll find everything from traditional colors and embellishments to modern and unique color choices and designs. Best of all, each style of card on their site has a little “heart” button below it that you can click to store your favorites as you browse. I love this feature – it helps keep my favorites organized and easy to find when I am ready to choose the perfect one!

This year’s  Shutterfly 2013 Holiday Card Collection includes 5×7 folded tri fold & back of card designs. These are so pretty and offer the chance to add multiple pictures of the family.
