The summit focused on the positive aspects of playing games as a family. One of the best tips I walked away with was to check out the ratings of each game and to try them out as a parent before allowing your child to play them. By doing this, you will have a better understanding of the games your child is interested in and whether or not you feel they are a good fit for your child. This is the perfect starting place in helping you to make informed choices when selecting appropriate games for the whole family. Do you and your family enjoy family game nights? All of the games have been a big hit with my own family and many are available for several game systems. This year, Xbox 360 is at the top of my son’s Christmas wish list – so we are looking forward to adding more new games to our new system’s collection!
