I will be the first to candidly admit – I have a sweet tooth.  I love dessert and I eagerly look forward to dessert any chance I get.  There is something so heavenly about ending the perfect meal with something sweet.  Looking for that little piece of chocolate after dinner is a routine habit here at my house.  And let’s just say that I always get a warm and fuzzy feeling every time someone comes along to serve dessert at a party or gathering.  I love my sweets – and I am pretty sure many of you out there will agree – I am certainly not alone.

Although I love baking holiday cookies as much as everyone else does this time of year, with kids schedules jammed packed and a busy daily work schedule in addition to running the blog, keeping up with everything can be overwhelming at times to say the least.  Recently my friend Anja and I had the chance to chat at a kids birthday party we were attending together and she began telling me all about her business.  I was intrigued to hear more about her products and story and she was glad to not only share her story, but to send me over a few of her homemade Pumpkin Whoopie pies to try after my turkey dinner a few weeks ago.

Born and raised in Germany, Anja developed her love of baking by following her Grandmom around in the kitchen starting at a very young age and later having the chance to work under some amazing bakers and pastery chefs as an apprentice. Her specialties include German and American home made, baked goods and sweet treats and each batch and item is made with care and love.  All of the Little Fingers Cookie Jar products are homemade from scratch and contain no preservatives.  Although she is not currently able to offer gluten free and nut free options, she is hoping to incorporate these specialty items in the future.

  1. Oh I have a big sweettooth too! Sadly, I grew up on Betty Crocker, so I’m kind of hit and miss at baking my own – which I have to, because of my kids’ food sensitivities! The worst is that I can’t usually recreate my own successes, LOL! BUT I’m always game to try again 🙂

  5. Thank You so much for all the wonderful Comments in regards to my small business. I sure do appreciate it. If I can assist you at any time, feel free to reach out.
The Cake in the Jars in the photos seen here are actually already baked cakes not a mixture where you add your eggs and butter etc. I used to bake them to send to my husband while he was stationed in Iraq and they stay fresh for about 4 weeks in the jars.
    THANK YOU AGAIN!!!
