Menu Plan Monday – What’s Cooking at Out House This Week

recipe_cards_1

It’s Thanksgiving week and everywhere I look I see food!  Ahhh I am looking forward to speding a wonderful dinner with family on Thursday – my absolute favorite meal of the year! Meanwhile I am using items I have on hand to come up with dinners the rest of the week.  I’m saving the best for Thursday!  Here is what we have planned this week:

Monday – Baked Breaded Flounder (we buy ours from Colonial Meat Market in Springfield PA – super yummy and quick and easy for busy nights – the flounder is already breaded and can be found in the refrigerated deep cases near the meats), served with a side of noodles and burst oven roasted grape tomatoes

TuesdaySalisbury steaks, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies

Wednesday – Slow cooker Turkey Kielbasa with beer, sauerkraut and applesauce, pierogies, steamed veggies (never ended up making this last week because we used up some leftovers for dinner instead so adding it to this week’s menu instead!)

Thursday – Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope you enjoy a wonderful day surrounded by family, friends and loved ones. We are heading to my parent’s house where we will enjoy dinner with my Mom’s family.  We are bringing a turkey breast, green bean casserole and some pies!

Friday – Heading to a Friendsgiving at a friend’s house
