Meet NKOTB’s Joey McIntyre at Xfinity King of Prussia 3/31 and Cherry Hill 4/1 #ReturnoftheMac

If you were a child of the 80s and 90s like me, chances are you (or someone you knew) were head over heels for New Kids on the Block.  I can still remember writing in my journal about how much fun it would be to meet the singers, especially Joey McIntrye (who was my absolute crush of the moment).  Fast forward a few decades later, I am sitting with a cup of tea sifting through emails this past week. There was one particular email that gave me butterflies (you are never too old for butterflies, right?!) The email contained information about an autograph session with Joey McIntyre next month at not one, but two local Xfinity stores, and get this – we are all invited!

Squee!  I am so excited to share this fun opportunity with you!

Joey McIntyre is back – and he is all grown up and married with a family of his own. In his newest venture, he will be starring alongside his family in the new POP TV comedy Return of the Mac.  The eight episode series will debut April 12th at 8:30P/ 7:30C. Learn more about the series and find your channel at poptv.com.

RETURN OF THE MAC is a scripted comedy starring boy band heartthrob Joey McIntyre as a version of himself alongside his real-life family—wife Barrett and their three children, Griffin (8), Rhys (6) and Kira (5). As he embarks on a hilarious quest to be taken seriously as a legit actor, Joey is thrown into the reluctant role of a talk show host at a fledgling cable network called The Comfy Channel. As Joey starts to navigate the talk show circuit, he is joined by his often misguided manager and team played by a hysterical cast, including Adam Ray, Jamie Denbo, Katie Wee, Punam Patel and Jordan Black.

RETURN OF THE MAC is executive produced by Donnie Wahlberg, Jenny McCarthy and Joey McIntyre, along with Tim Gibbons (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”), Paul Greenberg (“Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris”) and Jenny Daly (“Storage Hunters”).

Joey will make his way to the Xfinity Store in Cherry Hill at 941 Haddonfield Rd, Cherry Hill NJ from 11 AM – 1 PM.  At both locations, fans will have the opportunity to meet Joey as he signs autographs.  Event is first come, first served, so be sure to arrive early. How much fun does this sound?  What a great opportunity to re-live a little excitement from our teenage years!  Ahhh – now what to wear!  Hope to see some of you there!!
