Lansdowne’s Memorial Day Parade Remembers Fallen Heroes
The Lansdowne American Legion Post 65 and The Lansdowne Business and Professional Association will co-sponsor Lansdowne’s Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29th. The parade launches from Lansdowne and Lacrosse Avenues at 9:00 a.m. sharp proceeding north on Lansdowne to Essex and on to the Penn Wood High School field and World War monuments for ceremonies with veterans.
It is a rain or shine event.
This year’s theme, World War I, commemorates the U.S. entry into the war 100 years ago.
All veterans and active service people are invited to march with the American Legion Post in the parade and all LBPA members are welcome to march too!
