A spectacular Character Meet & Greet/Breakfast Fundraiser for the Upper Darby Summer Stage Shooting Stars at the Havertown Applebee’s.
Enjoy a tasty all-you-can-eat breakfast while your imagination comes to life and spirits soar as the talented Shooting Stars perform and serve you and your family breakfast!
Don’t forget to bring your cameras to take photos with your favorite characters!

Choo Choo Barn Christmas Layout

Celebrate the holiday season as the Choo Choo Barn transforms Traintown USA® to bring the magic of Christmas to its gigantic model train display. For the 7th year, the Groff family continues their annual tradition of decorating the miniature homes and businesses along the tracks to share their holiday spirit with visitors from November 24, 2017 to January 15, 2018.
The Groffs will once again hide Santas on the layout for each year the Choo Choo Barn has been open – 56 in all! The annual “Santa Search” is always a hit with all ages – and this year’s newest Santa won’t disappoint! (You’ll have to visit to find it for yourself!) In addition, enjoy the holiday decorations throughout the display including holiday lights and the snow-covered landscape. Watch as Santa’s sleigh flies above the 1,700 square foot model train extravaganza, which includes 150 hand-built animations and 22 moving trains.

at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, 8601 Lindbergh Blvd, Philadelphia PA
Jeff Cooney and Robb Kerr will lead a ‘Winter Tree Talk and Walk’ on Sunday, Jan. 14th at 9AM in the Visitor Center conference room. We’ll be inside for about 1 1/2 hours, then outside for another 1 1/2 hours (3 hours total). Please wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers.

School And Family Festival 2018

Join The MOM’s Club of Media on January 14th at the Aston Community center, for some free family fun!
This event will have vendors, local organizations(#RockdaleArtCenter, Gathered birth and more), plus local preschools. Come out to explore schools for your child(children), local places for family fun/camps, and more. 
Rockdale art center will have a craft at the event. This craft will be sensory tubes for ages 3+. This craft will be 3 tubes for $5 and all proceeds go directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
Also, come out to have lunch with us. As we will be serving hot dogs, insomnia cookies and more!!! 
Other attractions include #DelcoSpiderman#Wonderwomancowgirl, Mr. Jason, bake sale table, and raffles! 
Raffles will be 2 tickets for $1…Raffle items include; Oasis, Adventure Aquarium, Norwex, and more! 
So please come out for some free family fun on the 1 4th! We hope to see you there!
