Last Saturday, I attended a fun and informative Social Media Mom Mixer Holiday showcase event at the Hyatt Bellevue in Philadelphia. Hosted by fellow Philly Social Media Moms bloggers Colleen Padilla, Classy Mommy, and Whitney Wingerd, Mommies With Style, this event was the perfect opportunity to network with other area bloggers while connecting with some amazing brands.
Sponsored by Hasbro, there was a multitiude of hot toys for the holiday on hand for us to check out, play with and learn more about first hand. Furby is at the top of my son’s wish list this season as I am sure it will be on many kids (and adult) lists as well. I am also loving the fun Play-doh Disney’s Prettiest Princess Castle. I love how Rapunzel’s hair can “grow” down the castle wall.
Just Play had a colorful display featuring three of their hottest picks – Bouncing Tigger, Minnie’s Bowtique Kitchen (Don’t you just love the bright pink and purple girly colors?) and my daughter’s top pick this season – the adorable and interactive Doc McStuffins.
We got to check out some American Girl dolls, including the beautiful Caroline. My daughter is head over heels for all things American Girl. This year’s wish list includes a gymnastics leotard and bars for her doll (so she can teach her all of the moves she learned in gymnastics) LOL
I was also fortunate to check out some exciting products from Knex, including this working roller coaster set! My son would flip over this. These Knex items are perfect for any kid who loves to build. Other fun Knex products include TinkerToy (oh how I loved these as a kid!) and Lincoln Logs. Knex carries products with kid favorites such as Monster Jam, Angry Birds, Mario Cart Wii and Sesame Street. Did you know that Knex are manufactered right here in Hatfield, PA? I had no idea!
