Lansdowne Library: Japanese Storytimes, Reach out to Japan efforts

We can help! Due to the earthquake and tsunami in Japan please consider donating to the Lansdowne Public Library’s reach out to Japan efforts: Make checks payable to: “American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund,” with the memo line that states “Japan Earthquake,” which ensures the money is used for the Japan relief. Drop off your checks at the Lansdowne Public Library and they will send them to the Red Cross.

One World, Many Stories is the theme for the 2011 Summer Reading Program.
The devastation in Japan is a story we share as part of One World.
The Lansdowne Public Library is already scheduled to celebrate the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia. In addition to donations, we can also show our support for the people of Japan by learning about their culture and traditions. Share in their Japanese themed storytime with crafts and activities with their Japanese storyteller.
