Weekly meal planning not only helps you to stick to your budget but it also helps you to be more accountable for what you are eating. In many cases you end up with healthier, more balanced meals when you plan ahead. As a lifetime Weight Watchers member (not currently at my goal but working to get back to it), I need to make healthy choices so that I can stick to my daily points allowance. Here is what is cooking at our house this week (I usually use weekends to finish up leftovers or make something quick and simple):
Monday: Crockpot BBQ Pulled Pork on Light Hamburger Buns and a side of light broccoli cole slaw
Tuesday: Tacos made with extra lean ground beef, light sour cream and lots of fixings
Wednesday: Grilled Chicken Caesar Wraps
Thursday: Spaghetti and Mussels in Red Sauce
Friday: Pizza for the kids, Salads for me and hubby
