Family Dollar on Mac Dade Boulevard in Holmes (next to Barnaby’s) is having its Grand Opening starting today, Thursday September 15th. I stopped by this morning to check it out. I was promptly greeted by a team member at the door with a warm welcome followed by a coupon good for $5 off of any $25 or more purchase. Prices are really good…and I love that they stock greeting cards that are only $0.50 to a dollar a piece as well as milk, bread and many grocery staples that I always have on hand. I even found some great play shoes for my daughter for just $6 a pair! I am just so excited to have one of these discount stores so close by. If you choose to wait until the weekend to head over, their in store ad states that the first 50 customers on Saturday September 17th, 2011 will receive a FREE $5 gift card while supplies last (must be 18 or older, one per family, no purchase necessary).
