Let’s just say that everyone who knows me knows that I “run on Dunkin”. Dunkin’ Donuts is by far my favorite place to grab a coffee when I am on the go. Usually you can spot me at the Dunkin Donuts on MacDade Blvd in Folsom. I am genuinely amazed at how all of the staff knows all of the regular customers’ names and orders. It is incredibly amusing to stand in line and listen as they greet everyone and ask if they would like their usual. How on earth can they possibly remember exactly what everyone orders each day? It’s mind blowing to me – and boy does this location have a following! But it shows that they pay attention – and that they care about your business. They make it a point to greet everyone and mingle with customers. Good customer service makes all the difference to me and I have to say, this particular location has it in the bag!
Aside from my regular hot tea and hot pumpkin coffee, my other favorite beverage of choice is the Dunkin Iced Coffee. What makes it different from other quick stop places like Wawa is that rather than purchase a sickeningly sweet presweetened coffee mixture, Dunkin has fresh brewed coffee sweetened to your own liking. You can watch calories and fat by customizing your own sweetener, cream, milk or skim milk preference. And when you like to give yourself a special treat, they have a ton of flavors to choose from such as pumpkin, mocha and hazelnut just to name a few. Iced coffee is such a wonderful and refreshing pick-me-up in the middle of the day. And once summer comes around you will be certain to see me with one in hand most afternoons at the pool.
