This week I decided I am going to raid my freezer, pantry and refrigerator and make all of my meals from what is already on hand. Unfortunately it will not save me from a trip to the store, as I am out of some important staple items, but it definitely will cut back on money this week. Here’s what is planned:
Monday – Crockpot Teriayki Chicken served over brown rice
Tuesday – BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches on light hamburger buns, homemade broccoli coleslaw
Wednesday – Barilla Plus Penne with Turkey Sausage Crumbles and Sausage flavored Spaghetti Sauce, salad
Thursday – Breakfast for Dinner – Eggs or Omelets, Bacon, Homefries, 7 Grain Toast
Friday – Gorton’s Garlic & Herb Skillet Crisp Tilapia, Potatoes, Veggies roasted in my ActiFry
