This year I have the privilege of working with Gutzy Gear and Madame Deals Media to participate in the Paying It Forward is Gutzy campaign. Have you heard of Gutzy Gear? Gutzy Gear enables kids to personalize their backpack, messenger bags, duffle bags, car seat strap and more with soft strap covers and removable velcro patches. They are super cute and fun for school age kids!
I was given $25 to purchase a backpack and and as many supplies as possible to donate to a needy child this school year. I chose to donate my backpack to Pathways PA, a local non profit services and advocacy center for women, children and families located at 310 Amosland Road in our local Holmes, PA area. Every year, Pathways PA sponsors a Back to School Project where they collect school supplies from members of the community to give to children in their residential programs who are in need of school supplies. Anyone is welcome to donate supplies to this wonderful program, which you can read more about HERE.

Many thanks to Gutzy Gear and Madame Deals Media for selecting me to be a part of this wonderful program. I cannot tell you how excited my kids and I were to be able to help another child to get ready for school this year.
Have you picked up any extra school supplies this year? If so, have you considered paying it forward? Remember – to pay it forward, you do not need to purchase an entire backpack; any supplies you can donate will make a difference!
