As we prepare for the hardest part of the hurricane yet to come, I am trying to make a plan for what what to cook so long as we do not lose power. I have several bags of ice and a cooler ready to go to try to salvage any food that may be compromised during the storm. I’ve decided to continue with a menu plan for now but chances are we will be making due with peanut butter and jelly, canned items, baked goods and other various shelf stable foods we have on hand if our electricity is lost. For all of you weathering the storm, stay safe!
Monday: Preseasoned Pork Roast in the Crockpot, Lobster Ravioli with Vodka Sauce, Cauliflower, broccoli and Carrot blend
Tuesday: Grilled Cheese and tomato soup
Wednesday: Halloween is also my son Aidan’s birthday and he always requests fun, Halloween inspired meals. Here’s what is planned:
Thursday: Penne with Shrimp, Asparagus and Peas
Friday: Skillet Crisp Tilapia, Brown Rice, Steamed Veggies
I’m visiting from Organized Junkie’s Menu Plan Monday today.
Looks like there’s going to be some amazing meals this week.
Happy Halloween!
