Social Media #MomMixer Holiday Showcase 2012 – Great Holiday Gift Ideas Part 2

Yesterday I began telling you all about a fun Social Media Mom Holiday Mixer that I attended at the Hyatt Bellevue in Philadelphia last Saturday.  Hosted by Colleen Padilla, Classy Mommy, and Whitney Wingerd, Mommies with Style, the event opened up the opportunity to  network with other bloggers while connecting with some great brands showcasing some of their holiday favorites.  Yesterday I highlighted some kids toys from the event.  You can read more about them HERE.  Today I am going to tell you a little more about kids clothing and great gifts for adults – especially Moms!

Tommy Hilfiger kids apparel presented by Kids Headquarters was on display and boy was the clothing gorgeous!!  The sweaters and pants were soft yet durable and would look precious for everything from play to holiday wear.  Checkout the cute red doggie sweater on the right.  It’s so nostalgic and reminds me of sweaters we would have worn as kids.

Local Stella & Dot Stylist Jen Thomas was on hand displaying all of the latest, most fashionable Stella & Dot jewelry pieces as well as gorgeous scarves.  These pieces are true conversation pieces!  It is amazing how a piece of jewelry or a beautiful scarf can really transform an outfit.  Best of all, you can be certain to get some great compliments while wearing these pieces.  I don’t know about you, but I would love to be surprised with a few beautiful gifts from Stella & Dot this holiday season.  Interested in learning more about Stella & Dot or booking a party?  Check out Jen’s Stella & Dot website at  If you place an order of $75 or more through her website in the next 3 days, you can receive free shipping!  Simply email Jen Thomas at and mention that you heard  about free shipping from Delco Deal Diva’s Mom Mixer event post.  You can also contact Jen on Twitter at @JenThomasJewels.  Jen would be glad to help you find the perfect pieces for yourself or to give as a gift.  Oh and be sure to share this info with your husband (wink, wink).

Ok – now this may get a little personal but when was the last time you had a bra fitting?  Ah hem – the response I heard over and over again at the Mom mixer was never!  Never?  A bra fitting is a MUST to finding a truly flattering and comfortable bra.  A well fitted bra can make all the difference how you look – and feel – in your clothing.  Did you know that you should get refitted on a regular basis – as your bra size can change drastically as you age, lose or gain weight, during and after pregnancy?  It’s also a fact that most women unknowingly are wearing the wrong bra size!  Barely There was on hand to administer bra fittings and tell us all about their extensive product line. Their products are really awesome – and many so soft and comfy that they really do feel “Barely There”.  Their intimates come in a range of sizes with tags on every item to help you find the size that is best for you and your shape.   Head over to their website HERE to check out all of the wonderful intimates they have to offer.

Another local business Cherchies Specialty Foods (based out of Malvern PA) had a spread of their delicious gourmet dips, jellies, condiments and sauces on hand for us to sample and savor.  Let me tell you – the products were heavenly {drool}.  Perfect for holiday entertaining, these dips and jellies make fancy appetizers in no time at all.  They also sell soups and gift baskets that would be perfect for a hostess gift or to give to someone who has everything. Check out their website HERE  to learn more about their delectable products.

Finally – to “wrap up” – VZ Wraps displayed their reusable, organic gift wrap bags.  I love the idea of going green by reusing these gorgeous wraps over and over again.  They come in a variety of prints and are all made in the USA. Each one also comes with a ribbon for tying the bag closed and even the ribbon is made of recyclable materials. Hand crafted in the Philadelphia area, VZWraps were created by a local Mom striving to reduce trash and paper waste while creating something beautiful.  Check out all of the pretty styles and designs HERE.

Each of the event’s attendees received a beautiful Lands End Canvas Tote swag bag filled with great products from all of the brands in attendance at the event as well as Johnson’s Baby, Aveeno, Pixi, Staples, Kind and Evy of California.  Many thanks to all of the sponsors for their generosity.

Last but not least, many thanks to Colleen Padilla and Whitney Wingerd for hosting such a fabulous and informative event!
I hope you will stay tuned and come back tomorrow when I will be posting some information on one of my favorite kid products from the event.  Can you guess what it is?
