For the fourth year in a row, Philabundance is promoting its “Spread the Love” campaign and they need your help to make it a success.
Peanut butter is in high demand by the community in need because it is kid-friendly and has high nutritional value. Peanuts contain more than 30 essential nutrients and are naturally cholesterol-free. Philabundance’s goal is to collect as much peanut butter and jelly as possible by February 15th – just in time for Valentine’s Day.
There are several ways you can help!
- Head to the Ridley Township Children’s Library and donate unopened jars of peanut butter and/or jelly in the bin located conveniently across from the library checkout desk.
- If you belong to Facebook, head over and “like” the Philabundance page. For every new like they receive through February 15th, Subaru will donate one jar of peanut butter and jelly to Philabundance
- Spread the Love about this campaign to all of your family and friends so that they too can help make a difference!
Philabundance is also giving away a $500 airline voucher within the continental US from US Airways or a 7-night stay at a Caribbean resort through Elite Island Resorts.

- Posting a photo of you with your PB&J sandwich on Philabundance’s Facebook page, Facebook.com/Philabundance.
