My kids are absolutely crazy about plush animal toys and anything that has to do with technology – especially online games and apps. I cannot begin to tell you their excitement when Wicked Cool Toys recently sent us a Scanimalz for review. Scanimalz recently debuted at the American International Toy Fair and got rave reviews and we were so excited to find out why!
Scanimalz are cute and cuddly plush characters with special QR codes on their bellies. To enter into the Scanimalz world, parents and kids simply download a free iOS or Android Scanimalz App, scan the QR code and begin enjoying games, track collections, earn Scantz points and work their way up the daily leader board. Kids will receive daily alerts from the app to prompt the kids to remember to scan their Scanimalz belly, keeping the connection between the Scanimalz and child alive. This made me especially happy to see that my kids have actually been excited to play with their Scanimalz regularly rather than toss it aside and forget about it! They actually look forward to getting the alerts as a reminder.
