As a little girl, I can still remember getting my Barbie townhouse for Christmas. I remember how excited I was to finally have a place for Barbie and her friends to call home. I lived in Philadelphia then – and I always wondered if Barbie and her friends were as happy there as I was. That was 30 plus years ago – I still can’t believe it has been that long. Fast forward to today – and now my 6-year-old daughter is creating memories with own set of Barbies, who by the way are far more interesting and glamorous than mine ever were! It always amazed me just how many years Barbie has been so special to so many little girls everywhere. I had so many dreams for those Barbies of mine – and I always wondered where she would go and what she would do in her life…
Just when I thought I may never know, I have received word that after 41 years, Barbie is ready to find a new place to call home! Apparantly Delaware County, PA is on her list of places to check out – and she will be making a very special stop at Kohl’s in Havertown PA this Friday as well as two other Philadelphia area stops this weekend! Check out what’s in store and how you can come join the fun!
After 41 years in Malibu, Barbie is all packed up and on the move, embarking on a nationwide search for a new place to call home. She will make 13 stops along the way to do what she does best – enchant girls with fashion, fun and play!
Her fifth stop is on June 28 – 30 in Philadelphia (Kohl’s – Havertown, Toys “R” Us – Franklin Mills Circle, Toys “R” Us – Aramingo) at 11am. Fans of all ages are invited to step into her world for a FREE, all-access pass to experience Barbie entertainment, fashion and construction.
