Disclosure: I received a smaple of Jamberry Nail Wraps to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
Last month, before attending the Disney Social Media Moms on the Road event in King of Prussia, a fellow blogger and Jamberry sales consultant, Jenna Urban of Bucktown Bargains, reached out to me to see if I would be interested in trying out some really awesome custom Disney inspired Jamberry Nails for the event. I was so excited to give them a try, as not only were they over-the-top adorable, but I have been hearing so much about Jamberry Nail wraps that I thought it would be great to be able to try them out for myself.
As a busy Mom and blogger who is constantly cooking, cleaning, folding laundry, going to the gym, shopping and typing away on my laptop, I was a bit skeptical to see just how long these wraps would last without peeling, fading or falling off. I love, love, love the look of a fresh manicure, but between the price to get regular manicures and the minimal amount of time they usually last, I tend to wear naked nails to spare myself the disappointment that comes when I am chipping away at my polish. Jamberry Nails sound like every busy Mom’s dream. I was crossing my fingers that I would soon be obsessed with these adorable wraps!
The kit arrived just two days before the event. I did some research online while I was awaiting them to arrive. I was thrilled to find that a quick search for Jamberry Nail Wraps on You Tube turned up a ton of how-to videos showing how to properly apply Jamberry wraps as well as numerous tips as to how to get the best fit, application and how to deal with peeling, wrinkling and more! Methods include a nifty dryer that you can purchase directly through Jamberry, hair dryer, rice bag, and cold and baggie method.
After sorting through the many ways to apply the wraps, I decided to go ahead and try the “rice method” which you can check out for yourself HERE. I found this method much easier than I originally expected. The first few nails were a bit of a challenge to properly apply and took me a little longer than expected. However, once I got the hang of it, the application process seemed to get easier and smoother as I went along. I imagine that the more you apply the wraps, the more efficeinet the process will become. It took me about 25 minutes to apply all of my nails; I have been told on average with some practice it should take around 15 minutes for a full application – again so much quicker than applying nail polish and waiting for it to dry!
Although I haven’t tried them on my toes, I have been told that Jamberry wraps can last up to 8 weeks on your toes!!! How awesome is that?

I was completely thrilled with the end product and began posting my pics on my social media pages. Immediately I received a ton of compliments – especially from all of my family and friends who are Disney fans! How fun would these be to wear on your next Disney trip??
I absolutely love the look of the Jamberry wraps – but I will tell you that they feel quite different from nail polish and take a little getting used to. I did have some trouble with minor peeling on the edge of one nail which I easily fixed by reaheating it with the rice pack. I can certainly see how one could otherwise be tempted to pick or peel off the wraps if you are not patient.
The wraps lasted on my nails for approximately 5 days. I was pretty excited as this was my first time applying them and I did begin to find myself picking away at them after a few days as they would loosen around the edges. I’d imagine after some practice, the application process would be much better and I am confident that these would last much longer had I applied them with better technique.
That being said – would I but these again? YES!! Would I recommend them? YES!! Not only do they come in over 400 adorable designs, they are a super fun way to express yourself or perk up an outfit and they certainly are a great conversation starter. They certainly last much longer than regular nail polish would on my nails and each sheet allows you to get 3-4 manicures for just $15!
