One of my very favorite things about being from Philadelphia is all of the wonderful arts and theater opportunities that surround us right here in our area. Coming from a family of Mummers and musicians, I have always had a fond appreciation for plays and musicals. My husband and I have been to many shows together for date nights and family outings. Last spring I had the opportunity to take my 7-year-old daughter to her very first show and she was absolutely in love with the theater.
I cannot tell you how very excited I am to share that Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical is coming to the Academy of Music in Philadelphia next Tuesday, November 17th and will be on stage through Sunday November 29th.
