Kids for their Community – Intergenerational Event @ Fair Acres

Please join us for our first Intergenerational Programming event at Fair Acres Nursing Home Building #7 on January 9th from 2:30-3:30! Middletown Free Library, Delco SPCA & Kids For Their Community are partnering up to offer intergenerational programs to get kids to volunteer in their community!
MFL’s CreateSpace will be brought out by Mr. Jason & he will show kids & senior citizens Makey Makey–an invention to turn everyday objects into keys or controls (i.e. Banana Piano)
The second group, “Pet Therapy Group,” hosted by Delaware County SPCA volunteers and dogs, will allow participating adults and kids to reminisce about their shared love of animals.
The third group, “Look Good, Feel Good,” hosted by KFTC volunteers, will focus on the benefits of self-care and the confidence that one feels from taking the time to look good! This will include hand massages and manicures.
