Before thinking about heading to the grocery store this week, I decided to do an inventory of what I already have on hand. It has been awhile since I have done a weekly freezer/pantry challenge, so I thought this was a great time to give it a whirl. I am searching the pantry for side dishes and getting a little creative with what I already have on hand. Since I already have almost all of the ingredients needed, I am going to try the Korean Style Pork Chop recipe I linked below that I found on Pinterest. I will need to make a substitution for the sriracha sauce (perhaps a hot sauce or chili sauce that I already have on hand) – I don’t think that should be too hard. I will be sure to let you know how these turn out! Here’s what I am planning for the week:
Monday – Chicken Marsala using Campbell’s Skillet Sauce, Ronzoni Smart Taste elbows with a touch of butter and garlic powder, steamed veggies
Tuesday – Korean Style Pork Chops, Rice, steamed veggies
Wednesday – Turkey Kielbasa, Pierogies, steamed veggies (never ended up making this last week)
Thursday – Spinach, Onion and Bacon Quiche (I had made this to freeze a few weeks back), Baby carrots and dip
Friday – Pizza for the kids, Tuna sandwiches for me and hubby
