About two weeks ago I stocked the freezer with plenty of meat to last us a few weeks and help me to avoid hitting the grocery store other than to pick up some fresh items that are needed to get through the week. It has been wonderful for menu planning and to help from overspending at the grocery store. I’m also challenging myself to create lunches all week with things we already have on hand. I always love a good challenge! Here’s what I have planned this week.
Monday – Homemade Ham & Bean Soup (Thanks, Mom!) and dinner rolls with butter
Tuesday – The Very Best Salisbury Steaks, Fit & Active Egg Noodles, steamed veggies
Wednesday –Roast Sticky Chicken Rotisserie Style in the slow cooker, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies
Thursday – Choice of Turkey and Cheese or Peppered Ham and Cheese on a Roll
Friday – Pizza for kids, sushi for hubby and me
