Menu Plan Monday – What is Cooking at Our House This Week

recipe_cards_1

Looks like it is going to be a HOT one again this week! I am trying to use this week to do a freezer and pantry clean out so I’m trying to arrange a few dinners that can be made in the slow cooker or just on the stovetop to help beat the heat. Here is what we have planned this week:

Monday – Turkey Kielbasa sliced into rounds with a can of sauerkraut, a bottle of beer and a sprinkle of brown sugar in the slow cooker (on low all day) served with potato and cheddar pierogies and steamed veggies

Tuesday – Ravioli with homemade gravy that I defrosted from the freezer served with Italian turkey sausage

Wednesday – Depending on the weather and how high the heat goes, we were thinking about heading out to the Pop Up Dining on Saxer event in Springfield. Sounds like fun! Anyone else planning to go?

Thursday – Marinaded Chicken Thighs using this marinade recipe in the slow cooker, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies

Friday – Pizza

I’m linking this up at I’m an Organizing Junkie
