How was everyone’s Labor Day weekend? Hopefully you all enjoyed the rather surprisingly gorgeous weather that hung around despite all of the reports of rain and hurricanes that were suppose to pay us a visit. We spent most of our weekend enjoying our last days at the pool with friends and grilling outside as the evenings were cooler. It really was just perfect! This week my kids are back in school full time. Sports schedules do not start in full swing until next week so we are relishing dinner time together before the craziness starts! I have been really enjoying dinner on the grill. I actually like it more when the evenings start to cool down as they have been as I could literally sit outside and enjoy the outdoors until the sun goes down every night. Here is what we have planned this week:
Monday – Grilled Chicken finished off with GIANT’s Honeycrisp Apple Inspired Mulled Apple Bourbon BBQ sauce (by the way – it’s so delish!!) served with cauliflower and bacon ranch pasta salad.
Tuesday – Grilled Cheeseburgers with all of the fixins
Wednesday – Low Calorie Honey Garlic Grilled Pork Chops served with broccoli and rice (Thanks for the dinner inspiration, Amy H.!)
Thursday – Slow Cooker 3 Packet Roast with Carrots and Potatoes
Friday – Gorton’s Garlic & Herb Tilapia, Rice, steamed veggies
