It feels so good to be back in the groove this week and staying on track with the menu. I have been doing a lot of preplanning for snacks and meals for myself and my family and so far I have been doing a great job making healthier choices and steering away from sweet and high calorie snacks. I have been tracking my food in My Fitness Pal app and doing my best to get to the gym or get some form of exercise daily. Here is what we have planned this week:
Sunday – Sticky Roast Chicken Rotisserie Style (made in the slow cooker) with roasted butternut squash and homemade mashed potatoes (which I pulled from the freezer)
Monday – Turkey Hot Dogs on hot dog buns with salad
Tuesday – Turkey Taco Tuesday with all of the fixin’s served with choice of soft tortilla or Tostitos Scoops
Wednesday – Melt in Your Mouth Chicken, Brown Rice, Steamed veggies
Thursday – Leftovers
Friday – Pizza for the kids, Salads for me and hubby
