Flyers Wives Carnival Set for Sunday November 19th at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia {& a Ticket Giveaway}

Disclosure: My family and I will be receiving tickets to the Flyers Wives Carnival for the purposes of this post. No monetary compensation was received. All opinions are my own.

Here at our house we have always been fans of the Philadelphia Flyers but although year after year we have seen and heard all about the incredibly awesome Flyers Wives Carnival, we have never attended one of these amazing events. A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to attend a Flyers game with one of their Family Pack promotions and it was absolutely awesome!  The tickets included incredible seats as well as hot dogs, sodas and popcorn for 4 people. (If this deal circles back around again I highly consider checking it out – it is such an affordable way to bring the whole family out to a game!) It was a perfect family night out and the kids chatted all the way home about how much they would love a set of tickets to come to another game as a Christmas gift this year.  They both also mentioned how awesome it would be to attend the Flyers Wives Carnival. I cannot tell you how excited I am to be able to fulfull their wish to bring them to this upcoming weekend’s Flyer’s Wives Carnival, thanks to the generousity of the Philadelphia Flyers.  I know we are in for a real treat!

The Flyers Wives Carnival, which is this upcoming Sunday, November 19th from 11:30 AM – 4 PM at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, offers families a fun-filled afternoon at a very reasonable price, all for a good cause. Fans have the opportunity to meet Flyers players on a very personal level and receive autographs and photos with players and alumni. Activities include: interactive games against players, a dunk tank, shot-on-goal and a 60-ft Ferris Wheel and Carousel at center ice!

This one day charity event is not only one of the most successful one-day charity events hosted by a professional sports franchise, but it is also a genuine family affair, involving the participation of the Flyers’ players, management, staff, alumni and families. Dating back to February 1, 1977, it is also one of the longest tenured charity events hosted by a professional sports team. Flyers Charities proudly supports a multitude of worthy non-profit organizations that provide educational and recreational resources to underserved youth, engage in important medical and healthcare research, and countless community development initiatives throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.  What wonderful reasons to bring the whole family out for an absolutely awesome day of good old fashioned family time and family fun.

Tickets are affordably priced at $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under (children under 2 are free).  Tickets can be purchased HERE

There are also additional options to purchase tickets for Shot on Goal for the opportunity to shoot a goal right on Flyers ice for just $25 HERE

And there are also additional opporunities for Player Sign and Snap Sessions where you can get up to two items signed and one photo with a player (with your own camera).  Sessions are $40 and various time slots are available HERE
