Zombie Skate at Rothman Rink

Terror Behind the Walls partners with Center City District for Zombie Skate at Rothman Rink. You can skate with zombies, spin the prize wheel to win Terror Behind the Walls swag, and enjoy zombie-themed food specials in the Rothman Cabin. Beginner Basket Weaving at Colonial Plantation
9:30 AM – 12 PM
Baskets are beautiful as well as functional! They were also an integral part of historic life. Come to the Plantation from 9:30-12:00 on January 27th to learn the basics of basket weaving. We will be making a simple small round basket perfect for a counter top or bookcase. Ages 12 and up please. Member fee is $25.00, $30.00 for non-members. 
This workshop will be held at the Colonial Plantation; please use GPS address 3900 North Sandy Flash Drive, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Workshop will be held indoors, but dress in warm, comfortable layers. Fingerless gloves recommended. Snow date will be the following Saturday, February 3rd.

Children in grades K-5 are invited to read to a dog at Sellers Library!  
If your child is a beginning reader, a reluctant reader, or is just learning English, reading to a trained therapy dog provides a non-judgmental space in which they can improve their reading and communication skills. On top of all of that, reading to a dog is just plain fun!
Please note: reading sessions are limited to ten minutes per child. Your child must be able to read. Preregistration by a parent or guardian is required in advance, and registration is limited. Your child will be assigned a time slot when they register.

A spectacular Character Meet & Greet Fundraiser 
hosted at the Ridley Applebee’s on

The event is open to the public.
Cost of the breakfast is $8 per person. Payment must be in the form of cash or check (no credit cards). Payment will be taken at the door with admission on a first-come, first-served basis.
Breakfast guests should bring their cameras to take photos with their favorite characters.
Guests will be mesmerized as multiple beautiful characters walk from table to table to Meet & Greet guests, pose for photos, provide “autographs,” and entertain your children and you. Watch your children’s faces light up and waitness the amazement, wonder, and excitement in their eyes.
The event is sponsored by the Fireworks Dance Center Competition Dance Team as a fundraiser to offset the costs of their competition performances
