Celebrate Gene’s 70th Birthday at Chick-Fil-A Springfield Park
2 PM – 4 PM
In 1974, a young man named Gene Ontjes introduced the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich to Delaware County with his original restaurant location in the Granite Run Mall. In the four-and-a-half decades since, Gene has made many friends here in Delco on both sides of the counter, serving generations and watching the children that ordered Kids Meals grow up to have families of their own. On Saturday, March 3rd, Gene will be at Chick-fil-A of Springfield Park from 2pm-4pm to meet and greet those friends who can stop by to share some memories, share some laughs, share in some birthday cake, and enjoy a visit with the Chick-fil-A Cow. We hope you’ll join us in wishing Gene a Happy 70th Birthday, and if your day permits we look forward to celebrating with you.
