Calling all Disney fans!! Last weekend, Walnut Street Theatre kicked off its 2018-19 Walnut Street Theater for Kids season with Disney’s Aladdin Jr.! If you have never been to the Walnut Street Theatre, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy this classic Disney story (or any of the upcoming Walnut Street Theatre for Kids shows) while exposing your children to theatre and encouraging an appreciation for the creativity and magic of the arts. My family and I are planning to attend this weekend’s show and we absolutely cannot wait to see the performance!
Based on the timeless animated film and hit Broadway show, Disney’s Aladdin, Jr. is filled with magic and thrills the whole family will enjoy. When street urchin Aladdin falls for the strong-willed Princess Jasmine, he gets help from a fun-loving Genie to outsmart the wicked Jafar and win her hand. Get on your flying carpet and join us on a soaring musical adventure!
Disney’s Aladdin Jr runs from September 22 – 30 with several matinees that are perfect for a family’s schedule. The musical is fun, colorful, and only an hour-long (no intermission), so it’s perfect for kids of all ages!
