694 W Beidler Rd, King of Prussia, PA
Come make GIANT BUBBLES for FREE with GRANDPOP BUBBLES™.
Upper Merion Township will sponsor GRANDPOP BUBBLES™ and his amazing “Bubble Festival” at the Upper Merion Community Fair & Fall Fest.
Grandpop Bubbles will bring his bubble wands, poles, basins, buckets, and 100 Gallons of SPECIAL BUBBLE JUICE for as many as possible to enjoy bubbling with #GPOPB.
You’ll share Grandpop Bubbles’ 3′ bubble wands and his 3′ bubble “Tristrings” (two sticks and strings) to make bubbles. He guarantees that you will make the BIGGEST bubbles of your life — whatever your age.
All will be amazed by the giant bubbles from Grandpop Bubbles’ 10′, 16’, and now 20’ poles. Bubbles can be 10′, 20′, 30′, and even longer! Some adults may want to try.
There will be so many things for the kids and kids-at-heart to do…
~~ Make BUBBLES and BUBBLE RAINBOWS!
~~ Try to escape the GHOST OF BLOB.
~~ Run away from GHOSTS, DRAGONS, WHALES, and DINOSAURS!
~~ Pop all the cars of a BUBBLE TRAIN if you can reach them!
~~ Hit the floor with DANCING BUBBLES!
~~ We can bubble in a light rain (I run from lightning), but it will be up to Upper Merion if there might need to be a cancellation.
~~ Weather forecasts won’t tell you, but Grandpop Bubbles predicts that the weather phenomenon he calls the BUBBLE BLIZZARD may occur… (about every half hour). Poppers will freak out!
Parents will supervise their kids as they make bubbles and bring goggles if desired. Bubble at your own risk

PAWS for Reading at Middletown Free Library
2 PM
“PAWS for Reading is a program that allows children to read aloud to a therapy dog (or cat, or bunny!) in order to improve reading and communication skills. Children read individually to trained therapy pets (and their handlers) in schools, libraries, or other settings where they can feel comfortable and confident — and have fun! After all, a dog will not correct them or make them feel awkward if they stumble.”
MFL is a participating library in PAWS for Reading program! We have enough spaces per visit for 12 kids/readers. We recommend ages 5+ or any one who can read aloud.
Readers are limited to 10 minutes of reading aloud to a pet, but can read on their own or enjoy the library while waiting. Register for each individual child you will be bringing (do not include yourself or caregivers in the number).
If you register but do not show-up without notice, you will forfeit any future sign-ups for this program. Those unable to sign up are welcome to come and take any open space that may happen from no-shows!
