Little does he know that this strange and unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth, and an unquenchable thirst for HUMAN BLOOD.
As Audrey II grows bigger and meaner, the carnivorous plant promises limitless fame and fortune to Seymour, as long as he continues providing a fresh supply of blood. Just when it’s too late, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s extra-terrestrial origins and his true drive for world-domination

The Texas Chainsaw Musical
8 PM
at The Barnstormers, Inc. 402 Tome St, Ridley Park, PA
The Texas Chainsaw Musical! By Christopher Minori and Composer Cory Bytof is the story of a handsome serial killer, his overly affectionate momma, the women he loves, and the pantywaist runt that ruins everything. It is not based on the 1974 horror film, but on the same events that inspired The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho, and Silence of the Lambs: Wisconsin serial killer, Ed Gein. In the musical, Eddy Gee has been tormenting the residents of Plainfield, Texas since he was a child. After killing his mother, Eddy snaps and goes on a rampage, but things get problematic when he falls in love with one of his intended victims. Over-the-top humor, absurd but authentic characters, and moving, catchy tunes lead us through the lives of the four main characters as they trip over each other toward an unexpected and shocking ending.

PAWS for Reading
2 PM
at Middletown Free Library
“PAWS for Reading is a program that allows children to read aloud to a therapy dog (or cat, or bunny!) in order to improve reading and communication skills. Children read individually to trained therapy pets (and their handlers) in schools, libraries, or other settings where they can feel comfortable and confident — and have fun! After all, a dog will not correct them or make them feel awkward if they stumble.”
MFL is a participating library in PAWS for Reading program! We have enough spaces per visit for 12 kids/readers. We recommend ages 5+ or any one who can read aloud.
Readers are limited to 10 minutes of reading aloud to a pet, but can read on their own or enjoy the library while waiting. Register for each individual child you will be bringing (do not include yourself or caregivers in the number).
If you register but do not show-up without notice, you will forfeit any future sign-ups for this program. Those unable to sign up are welcome to come and take any open space that may happen from no-shows!
