A BioBlitz is an event where people search out & document as many plants and animals as possible in a certain area. Children and families can enjoy interactive games about the river and keeping it clean. Activities will focus on why maintaining a healthy river is important, and offer new ways to think about pollution and river health. Loss and its accompanying grief come in many forms. Here are some examples: death of a loved one, divorce, unemployment, death of a pet, retirement, empty-nesting, illness, moving, change in physical abilities, financial changes, legal issues.
Please join us for an interactive workshop where we will use poems to explore the emotions of grief. (NO POETRY WRITING SKILLS REQUIRED!) You will leave with a packet of poems and suggestions for future writing prompts to continue your exploration.
