Woodside Trailer at the Hagley Car Show

Experience the wonders of automotive innovation. Browse through more than 500 antique and restored cars that date from the early 1990s all the way back to the early twentieth century. Old City Fest 2019

in Old City Philadelphia – 3rd & Arch Streets
Old City Fest is a celebration of art and design, fashion and food, creativity and culture on the streets of America’s most historic square mile— Old City, Philadelphia. This event highlights the region’s premier art and design district, showcasing local designers, creative firms, restaurants, retailers, galleries, theater, culture, history and architecture.
Activities will include a festival stage with live music, runway fashion shows, a family fun zone, pop-up street performances and a wide array of food, beverages, art, craft and retail shopping, with 100+ Old City vendors participating. Admission is free, with food and drink pay-as-you-go.

Pop-up Play returns on Sundays to offer free, interactive activities featuring art, music, and science for children and their families. Join us opening weekend for a hula hoop fest featuring hula hoop decorating and contest.

Colonial Day 2019
12 PM – 3 PM (Colonial Day worship service begins at 10:30AM)
at Middletown Presbyterian Church 273 S Old Middletown Rd, Media, PA
Beginning at noon through 3:00 PM various games and crafts will be offered for both children and adults. Demonstrations include chair caning, spinning, wool preparation, quilting, weaving,”button lady” ,
blacksmithing, and a Colonial peddler and his wares.
Colonial re-enactors and participants include Massey House, Thomas Minshall House, The Lazaretto, Marple Newtown Community Band, Middletown Township Historical Society,
Bethel Township Preservation Society, and Friends Meeting Houses.
Activities include militia drills, Colonial music, Hands-on-History, tours of our historic cemetery, first person narrators, living history enactors and a homemade quilt raffle.

Faerie Fest 2019
12 PM – 4 PM
at Rockwood Park & Museum 4651 Washington Street Extension, Wilmington, DE
Whether you’re a faerie, pirate, gnome, princess, super hero, troll or kid, you are invited to enjoy games, stories, enchanted crafts, costume parades, and museum tours at the Faerie Festival at Rockwood Park.
The day includes Grandpop Bubbles Bubble Festival, food trucks, merchants selling festive wares and visits from special guests such as the Fairy Queen and other magical surprise guests!
Other free activities include, Hula Hoop, free play, face painting, bounce house, art on the rocks, story time, Pixie-land and Tinkertown activity, crafts, and performances by the Delaware Arts Conservatory, First State Ballet Theatre, Dream Chasers Gymnastics and Stage Stars Dance and Acro.
Faerie House and Gnome Home Building
12-3 p.m., $10/house, outside Rockwood Mansion
Limited supplies on a first-come basis
Exercise your imagination building a Faerie House or Gnome home using re-purposed household items and natural materials from Rockwood Park. Hot glue guns will be used, so children may require assistance from an adult.
SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR FAERIE FESTIVAL:
PARKING: Rockwood Office Park, 501 Carr Rd., Wilmington for the shuttle to the festival entrance. Due to the road closure, access Carr Road by way of Washington Street Extension.
Registration is requested at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/faerie-fest-tickets-65967774389, not required. Having a number is helpful for planning purposes.

Radnor Fall Festival

in Downtown Wayne on North Wayne Ave.
Encompassing the streets of North Wayne Avenue and West Avenue Between Lancaster Avenue and the Wayne train station, local merchants, service providers and restaurants are all on hand to share with the community.
Street performances by local bands, dancers from local dances studios, face painting and
carnival rides make it fun day for the whole family.
