Tickets are Now Available for the 2019 Flyers Home Opener vs the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday October 9th at Wells Fargo Center {& a Ticket Giveaway}

Disclosure: I will be receiving two complimentary tickets to the Flyers home opener in excahnge for this post. All opinions are my own.

Hockey Fans get ready – The Philadelphia Flyers will be kicking off their 2019-2020 season against the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday October 4th at 2 PM in Prague and they will return for a home opener at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Wednesday October 9th at 7:30 PM against the New Jersey Devils. I’m pretty sure the Flyers would be over the moon to celebrate their home opener with a packed house so now is the time to get those Flyers tickets and see our home team up close and live at the start of their new season. The promotional giveaway on opening night for the first 10,000 fans is the opening night schedule T-shirt which will allow fans to show off their Flyers pride all season long!

Additionally, this year Wells Fargo Center will be unveiling an exciting and affordable “New City Terrace”, the very first $25 standing room entertainment experience which will allow for a unique and affordable choice to attend Flyers home games this season. This new ticket option, starting at $25 each, is one of the lowest ticket price opportunities in the NHL. Over 750 standing room tickets will be made available in the Assembly Room for each Flyers game. Geared to the 21 and older crowd, the Assembly Room is an upscale, open-concept bar and lounge environment encompassing approximately 23,000 square feet and boasting an historic Philadelphia-meets-modern ambiance and aesthetic. The fully-immersive experience includes two eateries, two bars, four functioning fireplaces, game action screens, and communal dining and seating areas that can adapt to any type of outing. I’m sure this will quickly become a popular choice for those looking for a unique and relaxed new way of enjoying the game! I think this would be an amazing date night option as well!

And as if that is not exciting enough, the beloved Gritty will be back for another year as the official mascot for the Philadelphia Flyers. Gritty just celebrated his first birthday as mascot this week and has quickly become the ultimate Flyers fan – loyal, mischievous and certainly loved by Philadelphia fans.  Not only has he swiftly become an internet sensation, his quick humor and uncanny appearance is something fans have come to look forward to at the games and during appearances all around Philadelphia!

So, the big question – who is ready for the 2019-2020 Flyers season?  I know I cannot wait! Tickets are now on sale at the Wells Fargo Center box office or by purchasing tickets online HERE.

  5. I was a Phantoms season ticket holder from 2004 to the last game at the spectrum. Then from 2010 to 2012 we were Flyers season ticket holders until I had kids. Every year I try to make a promise to my son to take him to one Phillies, Flyers, Sixers, Union and Wings game each season. Sorry he is too young for Eagles games. But he loves the Flyers, still afraid fo gritty though.
