Christmas at the Choo Choo Barn

The Choo Choo Barn transforms Traintown USA® to bring the magic of Christmas to its gigantic model train display.
Starting November 21, search for 58 hidden Santas (one for each year we have been open) and watch as Santa’s sleigh flies above the 1,700 square foot model train extravaganza, which includes 150 hand-built animations and 22 moving trains. Enjoy the holiday decorations throughout the display including holiday lights and the snow-covered landscape. Plus, take a close look at the zoo animals in Traintown to see how they’re getting into the holiday spirit.

This annual West Chester tradition, hosted by the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce, will kick off Friday, December 6, 2019 at 5:00pm (parade starts at 7:15pm). The parade promises to provide a seasonal mix of traditional elements with a modern twist—local schools, businesses, volunteer fire companies, and other service organizations will join the many marching bands, floats, and antique vehicles that have cemented themselves as mainstays in the QVC West Chester Christmas Parade experience.
Also returning this year as Master of Ceremonies is 6abc’s own Adam Joseph, along with QVC hosts introducing speakers, entertainers, and other volunteers all night, so be sure to come early to get a good spot! But that’s not all! Before the parade, many local businesses and organizations throughout Downtown West Chester, PA will be hosting Holiday Open Houses featuring seasonal refreshments and entertainment in preparation for the parade.

The December 8 Symphony Series concert will feature the music of Peter Tchaikovsky and the 20th century Armenian-Soviet composer Alexander Arutiunian.
