Over quarantine we have had a ton of fun trying our hand at all kinds of kits – from cupcake kits to pizza kits, cannoli kits and decorate you own cookies, DIY kits have been an easy way to add a little family fun to the mix.
I heard through the grapevine that Donut Decorating Kits were coming to Dunkin’ and I knew that I had to get my hands on some as soon as they arrived in Delco. My daughter loves all things cooking, baking and decorating so I knew this would be the perfect dessert surprise, especially on this dreary day.
I found this particular kit at the Dunkin’ on Chester Rd in Swarthmore. I have been told that only select Dunkin’ locations are carrying the kits this week so be sure to give your local restaurant a call before heading over. I see the kits are available through the app at some locations but I found out the hard way that despite being on the app, the kits were not available today at some of these locations. I was told by a few that they may be getting the kits in the next week or so and to check back regularly.
I was informed that kits come in 2 sizes – 4 donuts or 9 donuts. The 4 donut kit I purchased came with 4 plain donuts, 2 icings and 2 sets of sprinkles for $5.99. Donuts were fresh and delicious and they are super easy to decorate. The vanilla icing was our favorite.

These are definitely a fun, reasonably priced little treat to enjoy as a family while having a little fun!
