Xfinity has truly made navigating these crazy times much more bearable for my own family. Like many families, my husband and I are both working hybrid schedules from home while both of our children rotate school schedules. We all rely heavily on quality internet service to get through our days, and despite the whole family being fully connected the majority of days (and nights), we truly have been fortunate to have had no issues with our cable and internet services during this time. We are profoundly grateful for Xfinity services and the cushion they have provided us during this time of transition.
Whether it means connecting with customers to educate them with WiFi tips for remote learning or Wifi tips for work from home, offering advice to optimize home network performance or introducing the new xFi Pods to help customers elevate their WiFi experience with the ability to extend coverage throughout their homes, Xfinity has stood loyal to its customers and services and continues to go above and beyond to better the experience for everyone. Support is conveniently available to all customers by phone, through the xFi app, online chat, or live in person at one of their local Xfinity stores.
I have been most impressed by Xfinity’s willingness to meet the challenges of these times by constantly evolving and finding new ways to not only keep their high standards of service, but by also adding and changing their options and plans to fit families’ and individuals’ diverse needs. This past week, I had the chance to join an informative virtual meet up with some representatives from the Comcast Philly NJ team, as well as other amazing local influencers to learn all about the newest offerings Xfinity has been rolling out to the public.
During our meet up, I was excited to learn that Comcast not only stands strong behind its commitment to its customers and services, but their commitment extends well beyond. In addition to providing affordable internet service through its Internet Essentials program and partnering with the city of Philadelphia to launch “PHLConnectED”, a program to assure internet service for all low-income K-12 public school student households, Comcast has also made a commitment to strive to play an integral role in driving lasting reform and hoping to help create a more equitable, just and inclusive society. One way they are doing this is by developing a comprehensive, multiyear plan to allocate $100 million to fight injustice and inequality. Areas that they will be focusing on making a difference include Social Justice, Employees, Media, Awareness and Education, Digital Equity, and Small Business Opportunities. You can learn more about these positive initiatives and how they are making a difference at https://corporate.comcast.com/commitment.
Whether your needs are educational or recreational, Xfinity has you covered. Did you know that by saying “education” into your Xfinity Voice remote, you will be brought to a page full of educational resources for ages preschool through Grade 12, including educational content, arts and crafts, STEM programming, Virtual Field Trips and more? Check it out for yourself!
And as we are all aware, staying at home means more time for enjoying home entertainment with many people quickly scurrying for new series and movies to enjoy. Streaming services seem to be all the rage right now and Xfinity has listened to its customers feedback by recently adding two new streaming service options to its growing collection of services already available: Peacock and Hulu.
Peacock, a free, premium ad-supported streaming service that delivers more than 13,000 hours of content, including a vast library of popular movies and shows, live news, sports, curated channels and trending content from around the world, is opening up even more enjoyable viewing options for Xfinity customers. Comcast’s eligible Xfinity X1 and Flex customers enjoy Peacock Premium included with their service at no additional cost. Peacock also offers an ad-supported premium tier for $4.99/month, serving no more than five minutes of advertising per hour. An ad-free version of the premium tier is also available for $9.99/month.
Hulu, also now available on Xfinity, brings customers Hulu Originals, movies and shows right alongside a growing collection of networks and streaming services already available to them, such as Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime Video. Customers with an existing Hulu subscription can simply say “Hulu” into their Xfinity Voice Remote and pair their account to start watching. Don’t have a Hulu subscription? Signing up is easy via X1 or Xfinity Flex via the Hulu app.
And for those of you who are curious about holiday programming and activities, a few simple voice commands into your Xfinity Voice remote will bring you to a variety of holiday programming this season, as well as music, yule logs and more! Try simple commands such as “Kids Holiday,” “Holiday Music,” and “Santa Tracker” to access all the holiday fun!
Lastly, with the holiday season just around the corner and more families needing mobile phones to help stay connected. Be sure to check out the multitude of options for individuals and families from Xfinity Mobile. When it comes to streaming, browsing, texting and talking, Xfinity realizes that everyone uses their devices differently. Because of this, Xfinity offers plans such as “By the Gig” and “Unlimited” so that everyone can get just what they need. You can mix and match options to bests suit your family’s own needs and you can track and change plan options at any time right through the app. Powerful nationwide 5G network and millions of secure WiFi hotspots included at no extra cost assure that you stay connected anytime, anywhere. Xfinity Mobile is offering some great deals on phones right now as well. Consider giving the gift of connectivity this holiday season!
Xfinity certainly has and continues to go beyond to keep its customers connected and protected. Right now, more than ever, technology is so precious and it is wonderful to know that Xfinity not only is listening, but they are continuously adapting and emerging despite the changes and obstacles we have been facing along the way.
Thank you, Xfinity!
We have XFINITY, and I love it. We’re on gigspeed, and it’s pretty awesome to be able to stream most of our services right through the box.

I have seen adverts for this company in the airport. Glad to learn a bit more about them for when I need their services.
I’m so glad they already have Hulu. It’s so nice.
We were very impressed with Xfinity and their willingness to help us out during e-learning with our internet speed.
I hope Xfinity is available on our country. This must be a great service for faster connection with family relatives. I need to check this.
