  • Santa at Hagley Museum Saturday December 5th 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM 
    Santa and Mrs. Claus stop by Hagley for a socially distant visit in the warmth of the Gibbons House kitchen along Workers’ Hill!
    First, visit the Brandywine Manufacturers’ Sunday School on Workers’ Hill, where children may write a holiday wish list for Santa.
    Next door in the Gibbons House, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make appearances, and guests are welcome to take selfies. Children may drop their wish list into a bucket and Santa will respond to their caregiver via email. One of their elves will be handing out individually wrapped cookies to good girls and boys.
    Gingerbread houses will be on display at the bottom of Workers’ Hill in the Millwright Shop for Hagley’s third-annual Gingerbread House Contest. Across the road in the Wheelwright Shop, there is another photo opportunity in Santa’s Workshop Selfie Station. Details and ticket info HERE

  • Christmas Tree Train Sun Dec 6th, Sun Dec 13th 8 AM at West Chester Railroad Once on board, passengers will enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts. The train will arrive at Wiggins at approx 8:30 AM where passengers will disembark at the tree farm to go pick and cut down your Christmas tree (hand saws will be supplied). Once you’ve picked that perfect tree, it will be banded up, tagged, and placed on our flat car. At 9:45 AM, passengers will then board the train and be brought back to West Chester where your trees will be offloaded from the train. Don’t miss this new spin on a classic holiday tradition!     November 26th, 2020 – December 31st, 2020 Monday – Sunday: 5:00pm – 11:00pm (weather permitting) Free Walk Through Display – No admission, just bring a donation (Monetary or supplies) for the BVSPCA The display is a unique display in that the sole purpose for our display is to raise money for the Brandywine Valley SPCA. This year’s display includes a full walk through pathway, filled with lights, inflatables, and everything in between.
