    1 Hour Play Time With Kittens! Come cuddle, play and enjoy the antics of the most purrcious kittens at our one day Kitten Palooza! This is a unique kitty experience where you can get to chill for an hour with a bunch of the youngest meowvelous cats in ACDC Rescue.
    Cat Nook Crew will be available to answer questions about new cat ownership.
    Kittens will be loose on the cafe side and not kept in any enclosure. Our helpful volunteers will be reviewing safety procedures when handling and interacting with the kittens.
    Kitten Palooza is a family friendly event and is sure to be an a-meowzing time!
    2 Time slots per day. 10 am and 11:30 am. Limited to 10 guests per time slot.
    Please arrive at least 10 minutes early so one of our friendly staff members can check you in for your visit. Late arrival may be refused entry. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 21 years of age. We require 1 adult chaperone over 21 years of age to accompany 3 minors under 12 years old. Details HERE

  • Plant Walk with Dick Cloud Saturday June 12th 1 PM – 3 PM at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge At Tinicum 8601 Lindbergh Blvd. Philadelphia, PA Join one of our knowledgeable volunteer walk leader for a plant walk! Walk will meet by visitor center and be at a relaxed paced on flat surfaces. There are restrooms and a water fountain near the trailhead. Please keep your mask on while at the refuge. Details HERE

  • Family Resource Fair and Outdoor Movie Night Saturday June12th 6:30 PM – 10 PM
    My staff and local organizations will be on hand to share information about CHIP, food insecurity assistance, WIC, early intervention, heating and energy assistance, rental assistance, internet safety, affordable childcare, mental health, bully prevention and much more. All CDC, social distancing and safety guidelines will be followed.
    The movie, Disney’s Frozen II, will begin at 8:15 p.m.

  • Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink Friday, April 30 through Sunday, June 27 Hour-long sessions will be offered to the public Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. – 8:45 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. – 11:15 p.m.  The rink’s retro-inspired design will feature a checkerboard floor and market lights. A colorful installation of overhead hula-hoops – designed and fabricated by Philadelphia’s Lucky Dog Studio – will add even more whimsy to the space.
