  • Juneteenth Family Art Walk & Celebration Saturday June 19th 10 AM Celebrate Juneteenth with artmaking, music, books and an art walk to the Upper Darby Art Gallery. Join Main Line Art Center and the Upper Darby Library System for a day of unity for our community. Artmaking activities will take place at Sellers Memorial Park, 76 S. State Road, Upper Darby.   • Civil War Saturday at Fort Mifflin Saturday June 19th 10 AM – 4 PM Explore Fort Mifflin’s years as a federal prison as the Mifflin Guard becomes our Garrison for the weekend! Watch the soldiers drill and prepare their camp meals over an open fire. “Enlist” and learn to drill with wooden muskets, enjoy Civil War Soldier Life and Medicine programs. Please note, for this season we will not be allowing hands-on public participation, but visitors will have the opportunity to watch the archaeologists work and talk to them about the process and their finds!   • National Eagle Day Celebration at Elmwood Park Zoo Saturday June 19th 10:30 AM – 12 PM 1661 Harding Blvd. Norristown, PA Help celebrate our national symbol and hometown favorite, the bald eagle! National American Eagle Day is a time to raise awareness about the bald eagle and the amazing conservation success story behind their return.
