  • Outdoor Storytime at Veterans Memorial Park hosted by Marple Public Library Friday July 16th 10 AM – 10:30 AM 354 Lawrence Road Broomall, PA Join every Friday in July and August for outdoor storytime in the gazebo at Veterans Memorial Park on Lawrence Road! Stories, songs, rhymes, wiggles, and fun! Recommended for kids ages 5 and under but all are welcome! No registration required.   • Stories on the Porch Friday July 16th 10 AM – 10:30 AM at Media-Upper Providence Free Library Children ages 0-5 (older siblings welcome) are invited to sing, listen to stories, do movement activities and watch puppets on our covered porch. Registration is limited to six families. (May increase based on current conditions.) Please follow current CDC guidelines.   • Sensory-Friendly Saturday at Brandywine River Museum of Art Saturday July 17th 9 AM – 10:30 AM 1 Hoffman’s Mill Road Chadds Ford, PA Individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorder and their families are invited to join us for early access to the Museum and a variety of creative and accessible activities.
    Created in conjunction with local families and occupational therapists, this inclusive program strives to provide a welcoming experience through offering:
    – Reduced crowding and noise
    – Pre-visit social stories
    – Activities to meet a variety of sensory needs
    – Hands-on art activities for all developmental levels that can be completed on-site or at home
    – A sensory break area
    – On-hand support of skilled and friendly volunteers
    – Fidgets and noise-cancelling headphones

    SEATING: Lawn seating- bring your own blanket or chairs. For safety, parties are encouraged to seat themselves distanced from each other. We will spread out across the entire lawn. You may bring a beach umbrella to use in the sunny areas.
    MASKS ARE OPTIONAL: We do ask that attendees wear masks if they are unvaccinated and not able to maintain social distance, especially while waiting in line to tie-dye.
