Have you been thinking about trying a new local restaurant? Do you have some favorites on your local bucket list? Well you are in luck! A new summer restaurant week is coming August 23rd – September 5th that aims to be the largest suburban restaurant week in the region, bringing together 50+ restaurants! How awesome is that?
Main Line Today and Today Media announce the debut of Main Line Today Restaurant Week with a 14 day culinary celebration that will showcase the talents of top chefs and restaurants in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties. As something out of the norm, the event will also spotlight and highlight local purveyors in a campaign that encourages restaurants to support small, local farmers and other suppliers.
I don’t know about you, but I have a running bucket list of local restaurants as well as a growing list of local favorites that I am so excited for the opportunity to experience during Restaurant Week! I am excited for the opportunity to get back out and enjoy a nice date night with my hubby and maybe a girls night out too, all while showing support for these local restaurants, farmers and suppliers who went through some hard times during closures throughout the pandemic last year. And what perfect timing that this event is running during the warm weather months when many local establishments offer outdoor dining as well.
Already over 30 restaurants have joined the line-up so far – that reads like a who’s who of the Main Line and Western Suburb dining scene – including:
* Pizzeria Vetri
* Lola’s Garden
* Revival Pizza Pub
* Stove and Tap West Chester, Malvern and Lansdale
* Ryan Christopher’s
* Terrain Cafe
* Nectar
* Goat’s Beard
* Victory Brewing Company
* Al Pastor
* Ryan Christopher’s
* 333 Belrose Bar & Grill
* The Gables at Chadds Ford
* DiFabio’s
…and more!
Participating restaurants will offer special three-course prix fixe menus for lunch ($24.95, plus tax, beverage and gratuity) and dinner ($36.95, plus tax, beverage and gratuity). Restaurants can choose what works best for them, offering lunch, dinner or both—dine-in or takeout.

While any restaurants from the Main Line and Western Burbs are invited to join – this program was designed and launched specifically this year to spotlight and help support the small independent and local-based restaurants that were most profoundly impacted by the pandemic.
