My kids have loved Makin’ Music since they were toddlers. We have followed them everywhere from Library events to Linvilla Orchards to concerts at Rose Tree Park. They are so energetic and entertaining and such a fun way to introduce young children to music appreciation and good old fashioned fun. I recently was introduced to the newest Makin’ Music addition, the at home Makin’ Music DVD for Families – where you can now enjoy this educational music program made for preschoolers right in the comfort of your own home! Where were these DVDs when my kids were toddlers? This is awesome!
The DVD is colorful and jam-packed with musical interaction that encourages the children to jump right in and be a part of the fun. The upbeat tunes are sure to get kids singing, dancing, stomping, bouncing and shaking in no time at all! My daughter seemedto get a mini workout in while enjoying the show. It is a great time to buy or make some egg shakers and other fun instruments. I loved that the DVD included craft instructions to guide you through how to make your very own instruments at home! The DVD is divided into two separate classes, which is perfect especially if your little ones do not have a very long attention span. I was impressed at how the instructors in the video encourage children and parents to join in the fun, making you feel as if you are a part of an actual class. As we enjoyed the video, I was thinking how great this would be as a gift for a little one’s birthday or holiday or to enjoy at preschool, day care, Grandparents’ house or anywhere you would like to entertain little ones.
At just $14.99, the DVD is not only affordable but super convenient for those with tight schedules who are not able to commit to regular preschool music classes. With all of these cold, snowy days, they are also a great way to keep the kids entertained, while enjoying a fun and educational music experience.
