Disclosure: I was invited to attend media preview, where I was treated to a complimentary luncheon, a gift card and gift bag. All opinions are my own.

Last month Bonefish Grill opened its newest restaurant in Wilmington, DE at 4737 Concord Pike in the Concord Mall.  New Castle County Chamber members, Bonefish Grill Regional Vice President Jeff Heath, Bonefish Grill Managing Partner Jason Farley, Bonefish Grill Joint Venture Partner Michael McMann and Bonefish Grill team members celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony and warm welcome to its patrons and neighbors.

The next day, patrons and supporters of the Children’s Beach House had the opportunity to enjoy the food and ambiance of the new establishment while supporting a wonderful cause.  Fifty percent of the entire day’s proceeds were donated to the local non-profit organization, which supports various programs that serve children with disabilities in the area.  Thanks to the generosity of Bonefish Grill and the many patrons who came out to support the event, $5,000 was raised for this very deserving organization! There is nothing I love more than to see businesses in the community supporting such wonderful, deserving causes such as this.

Prior to last month’s Grand Opening, I had the honor of being invited to attend a preview of the restaurant before it opened its doors to the public – and I was blown away by this new little local gem. Get ready to dive into a culinary extravaganza with choices such as  Bonefish Grill’s Bang Bang Shrimp® and new menu additions like the Spicy Tuna Bowl, Rib-Eye Steak served with sauces such as Asian Peppercorn Demi-Glace and White Truffle Butter, and dishes like the Lobster Grilled Cheese served with Lobster Bisque. Their menu is chuck full of affordable options with menu items to appeal to a multitude of tastes and preferences. For those that love seafood like me, you are going to have a hard time choosing from the delectable menu choices (my favorite being the Chilean Sea Bass). I love how they pay attention to every detail from the warm greeting as you enter to the stunning presentation of each plate. All items are cooked to order with the freshest ingredients possible. Staff is pleasant and outgoing. They are happy to answer questions and offer suggestions on everything from meals to drinks and desserts. For those looking to opt for gluten free options, there are plenty of those as well in addition to Gluten Free beer, wine and dessert options!   Since unfortunately I have not yet had the opportunity to dine here with my children, I cannot speak for my own personal experience, but I will tell you they do offer a menu with basic kid preferences such as chicken fingers, grilled chicken, fish strips, mac n cheese, French fries and other favorites.  As far as dessert, if you are a fan of key lime pie, YOU MUST MUST MUST consider trying their Key Lime Pie for dessert!!  It is absolutely out-of-this-world!

The décor is modern and elegant (and I was impressed to find they even have a few outdoor tables – complete with overhead heaters for cooler nights – if you prefer eating outside). It is the perfect mix of casual meets classy and a lovely place to head out for a high end meal without the high end prices you would come to expect for such an indulgent dining experience. Whether you are heading out for some drinks at the bar or for a casual date night or meal with friends, you are sure to enjoy the warm, classy ambiance, complete with dramatic accent lighting, a communal table for larger groups and quaint, casual tables outdoors.  Guests can call or go online to make reservations prior to arrival to avoid long waits when arriving.  Making reservations online is simple – and can even be done days or weeks in advance. If you prefer, you are welcome to call for a reservation at  (302) 478-1835. Reservations are recommended but not required, and walk-in guests are always welcome. I just finished up making a reservation for next week to celebrate our 14th anniversary and I cannot wait to see how much my husband enjoys the restaurant!

Bonefish Grill is also open for lunch 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday and for brunch (yes- they serve brunch – how cool is that??!) on Sundays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  Be sure to check out the menu online for the amazing options they offer!  Crème Brulee French Toast battered in orange zest, made with Grand Marnier and served with hand-whipped cream, fresh mint, strawberries and bacon is just one of the featured items you will find on the brunch menu! OMG – Is your mouth watering yet?? Can you see from these pictures why I absolutely cannot wait to go back next week??!!
