Here is a list of some fun things to do to ring in the New Year as a family this year. Click each event for full details and pricing:

New Year’s Eve

Countdown to Noon and Balloon Drop at Swarthmore Community Center – Swarthmore, PA
Queen Elsa will be at the annual “Count Down to Noon” party from 11am-12, singing, taking photos, playing games and then helping count down to Noon! Admission includes snacks and drinks as well as crafts.  Event is catered to 5 and under, but all siblings and young children are welcome.
$5 per child or $10 for family

Marple Sports Arena Countdown til Noon
Come celebrate New Years Eve MSA style. We will have a BALLOON DROP
to countdown ’til noon for all of our friends who do not normally get
to stay up and celebrate!
11 AM – 1PM
$12 fee includes skating*, Marple Mountain, Inflatables, Balloon Drop and
DJ Dance Party!!
*$2 skate rental

Kids New Years Eve Countdown to Noon
10 AM – 12 PM
at Neighborhood Nutrition, 519 Welcome Ave, Norwood, PA
Celebrate New Years Eve – kids style! There will be snacks, crafts and games as we count down to NOON! It will surely be a good time and a great way for the kids to celebrate!

3rd Annual Countdown to Noon Dance & Pizza Party at The Play Café

Ring in the new year with your friends with, crafts, champagne/sparkling cider toast, pizza, DJ dance party and  a countdown

3rd annual White party countdown to noon fiesta, wear something white to bring in good luck for the new year! Arts & craft, pizza, refreshments, live music and mucho mas! RSVP to info@luluscasita.com $15 per child

featuring Baby Loves Disco and Alex & The Kaleidoscope
The Ball drops at 12 (noon) so you can party with your whole family:
– Kids Zone Upstairs with balloon artist, face-painting, arts and crafts + full kids brunch menu.

Noon Year’s Eve Celebration at Brandywine Zoo Wilmington, DE
11 AM – 12:15 PM
Celebrate the New Year Zoo-style by ringing in the New Year at NOON with games, crafts, and a sparkling cider toast at Noon. Program takes place in the zoo so dress for the weather! Fee: $6 per person/$5 per person Delaware Zoological Society Members. (Admission will be charged starting at 10am)

Countdown to Noon at Please Touch Museum Philadelphia PA
9 AM – 3 PM
with countdowns at Noon and 1 PM
Tickets $25 each and must be purchased online prior to visiting
Anyone wishing to attend Countdown2Noon must either be a member or must purchase a specific event ticket at the link below.  General admission museum tickets CANNOT be used on December 31st
Additional ticket discounts DO NOT APPLY for this event.  We will not be honoring the ACCESS card admission program on Dec. 31st.

Countdown to Noon and 3 PM at Garden State Discovery Museum
The entire Museum will be singing and dancing and counting down to 2016 with our biggest celebration(s) yet!

Sweet & Sassy New Year’s Eve Bash at Collegeville and Exton PA Locations
11 AM – 1 PM
Party blowers, yummy treats, be in a runway show (come runway ready), dance to the hits of 2015, get a glittery make-over and rockin’ up-do, Countdown to Noon and Balloon Drop, and a ride around the center in the pink limo! $35 per girl, pre-payment is required.

NYE Rent-A-Lane(Reservations only)
Annual family rent a lane from 8pm to 11pm on New Year’s Eve. Enjoy 3 hours of bowling including shoe rentals, 2 pizza’s, chips, pretzels and soda for only $120.00 per lane. You may have up to 6 people per lane. No alcohol permitted. Limited to first 36 reservations

Franklin Square New Year’s Eve Celebration Philadelphia, PA
3 PM – 8 PM
Enjoy music and crafts, Square Drop from atop SquareBurger at 6 pm and SugarHouse Casino’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Waterfront, viewable from the Square. The park remains open until 8 pm for a Kids Dance Party in the indoor Pavilion and the final Electrical Spectacle Holiday Light Show of 2015. FREE

Blue Cross River Rink New Years Celebration Philadelphia, PA
Tickets include ice skating, light refreshments, musicians and entertainment (and of course, the best spot to watch the SugarHouse New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Waterfront).
The Party on Ice from 5-8PM is ideal for families and for those who have other commitments later in the evening, while the 10PM-1AM party caters to those who want to ring in the New Year out on the town. Enjoy delicious light refreshments, pay-as-you-go beer, cocktails and champagne, music, Mummers, face painting, party favors, and of course, spectacular fireworks shows at 6PM and Midnight.
