  • Main Line Today Restaurant Week 2021 August 23rd – September 5th The 14-day culinary celebration will bring together and showcase the talents of top chefs, restaurants and purveyors in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties.   • Outdoor Storytime at Veterans Memorial Park hosted by Marple Public Library Friday August 27th 10 AM – 10:30 AM 354 Lawrence Road Broomall, PA Join every Friday in July and August for outdoor storytime in the gazebo at Veterans Memorial Park on Lawrence Road! Stories, songs, rhymes, wiggles, and fun! Recommended for kids ages 5 and under but all are welcome! No registration required.   • Outdoor Storytime at Crum Creek Park Friday August 27th 11 AM – 11:30 AM Join Mr. Scott for a socially distant outdoor storytime!  We will read books, sing songs, and do some movement activities. Bring a blanket or chairs if you would like! Please follow CDC guidlines for masking.  In the event of bad weather or the threat of bad weather, storytime will be cancelled for the day.   • Star Wars Day on the Battleship New Jersey Saturday August 28th 11 AM – 3 PM 62 Battleship Place, Camden, NJ Star Wars movies inspired cosplay groups will be aboard the Battleship on Saturday, Aug. 28 from 11am to 3pm to meet guests touring the historic ship. From making butter, to getting water from the well, to dyeing their clothes, every day was Science Day.     Learn about buoyancy, density, and how boats stay afloat! Build your own boat and test how much cargo it can hold!
